Direct connections to Athens city center and the port of Piraeus are available via Metro Line 3 (Blue Line). Additionally, the Suburban Railway (Proastiakos) provides convenient access to other key suburbs and regional destinations.

Taxis & Ride Share: Taxis are readily available. Popular apps (Uber, FreeNow) operate here but function only as taxi aggregators, not private ride services.

Rental Cars: Options are plentiful and prices are often reasonable. We highly recommend booking early to secure your reservation. Note that off-site airport rentals (via a short shuttle) are typically the most economical choice.

Tram: The tram line runs along the coast and offers excellent coverage, connecting the coastal neighbourhoods directly to the city centre.

As Athens is a popular destination in the summer, availability can decrease quickly. We strongly recommend securing your accommodation as early as possible on Booking.com or Airbnb to ensure the best rates.
Option 1: The Athenian Riviera
Ideal for those who want a relaxing beach weekend and short travel times to the wedding venues.
Vouliagmeni: The most exclusive area, offering luxury hotels, quiet beaches, and close proximity to the Church.
Glyfada: A bustling hub of shopping, dining, and nightlife. It offers a perfect balance of city amenities and seaside relaxation.
Alimos: A convenient coastal suburb with excellent marina views and easy access to the Reception venue.
Option 2: The City Center
Perfect for first-time visitors who wish to prioritize sightseeing. Please note this option requires a 30–45 minute commute to the wedding venues.
Plaka & Monastiraki: The historic heart of Athens. Stay here for charming streets, ancient ruins, and a lively tourist atmosphere right at the foot of the Acropolis.
Koukaki: A vibrant, trendy neighborhood located just beneath the Acropolis museum. Famous for its pedestrian streets, local cafes, and authentic atmosphere.
Kolonaki: An upscale neighborhood known for high-end boutiques, galleries, and sophisticated dining.
